Aztec Energy is responsible for the personal information it collects through this website. This policy is written for a South African context and reflects the website's current enquiry process. It does not claim legal compliance beyond the measures described below.

Aztec Energy collects information that a person chooses to submit through the contact or quote form. This may include a name, company, email address, telephone number, product requirement, quantity, delivery information, commercial details, a message and an uploaded technical document. Basic technical information may also be processed for security and rate limiting.

2. Purpose of processing

Information is used to assess an enquiry, communicate with the contact person, consider product and transport requirements, prepare a quotation, coordinate a potential transaction, prevent form abuse and maintain appropriate business records. Submitting a form does not create an order or guarantee supply.

3. Email delivery and service providers

Website enquiries are transmitted using Resend, the configured email-delivery provider, and delivered to Aztec Energy's business inbox. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited information where necessary to operate and secure the website. These providers may process data outside South Africa under their own contractual and security arrangements.

4. Sharing

Information may be shared with relevant service providers or supply-chain participants where reasonably necessary to assess or fulfil a requirement, comply with a legal obligation, or protect legitimate business interests. Aztec Energy does not publish confidential supplier relationships through this website and does not sell website enquiry information.

5. Retention

Enquiry records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to assess and manage the enquiry, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes or meet applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may differ depending on whether an enquiry leads to a quotation or transaction.

6. Security

The website uses server-side validation, limited file types and sizes, spam controls and encrypted HTTPS transport when deployed on the production domain. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Access, correction and deletion requests

Subject to applicable law, including South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act framework, a person may ask about personal information held by Aztec Energy or request appropriate correction or deletion. Requests can be sent to luke.aztec@mweb.co.za. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

This version of the website does not configure advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Essential platform functionality and security mechanisms may still use short-lived technical data. This policy and any required consent controls must be updated before optional tracking is introduced.
